Auto-Up power window Problem

When I use the auto-up feature on the drivers window it goes all the way up and then comes back down a few inches. Its as if i were to stick my hand in it, it would trip it back down, but it is hitting the top and tripping the saftey feature. It doesn't do it if i hold the button up manually. Anyone experience this! I have a 2006 4-door ex, 55k

Have you recently disconnected the battery?

Code:
NOTE: Whenever the battery is disconnected, the
driver’s window AUTO function is disabled.

56. Start the engine. Push down on the driver’s window switch until the
window is fully open.
57. Pull up on the driver’s window switch fully to close the window
completely, then hold the switch for 2 seconds.
58. Test the driver’s window AUTO function.

Disconnect the battery and try it. If you bought it CPO then you can take it back and tell them to fix it under warranty.

Are you holding the window switch the whole time the window goes up? You should be. I've found holding it for 5 seconds (or more) in the closed position works well.

When you do this does your auto up/down work at all? Mine works up and down with one touch, it just does the same thing it would do if i were to stick my hand in it. it just goes back down like 2 inches when it closes all the way.

Can we have the auto switch on the passenger side? My Pilot has on both front windows and it is nice. Maybe the 08 switch will fit ours?
