It's mostly preference... I believe the H & R and Eibach Pro Kit springs have the lowest option for the 4 cyl. Personally I went with the H & R springs before I got my coilovers for that reason.

H&R, and the Eibach PRO kit are the best springs you can get before coilovers the OEM ride is still there even after install.

Quick reply: H&R and Eibach have a lifetime warranty. Tein's warranty is only for one year. ( I believe it's still true - have not check since.)

Yes, springs should last a lifetime. But there something to be said, when companies don't want to back it up. I owned both H&R and Tein, and never had a problem with both over the life of the car. I would not hesitate buying either.

Color. H&R and Eibach is black. It looks more OEM. Tein is green. It screens aftermarket. Your choice.

So both of you concur that the ride wasn't compromised with either of those (H & R or Eibach Pro)? Just stiffer in cornering/braking/acceleration.

No affects on acceleration. The ride will get a little more bouncy but nothing crazy.

The ride on my H&Rs is horrible. It was nice for a week and it's just plain bad now. You can feel everything.

Get coilovers. I said this a million times but I'll say it again. The money that you are going to spend in the long run replacing your struts will cover the cost diffrence between springs and coilovers. One strut is $100x4=$400 not including installation fees. Pay now or pay later.

H&R and eibach sport have practically the same drop. If I recall correctly....(someone correct me if i'm wrong)

Eibach pro: 1.5 front, 1.0 rear
Eibach sportline: 1.5 front, 1.5 rear
H&R: 1.5 front, 1.4 rear.

The H&R and sportline bring the butt down more, but sportline and H&R are virtually the same drop.
