Opinions Please :) Pic...

Hey guys n girls...Here's a pic of my car w/ my eBay special Motegi MR7's......got it all as a set so it would still be at stock height and no huge fender gap.....Should I go with an aftermarket coilover set to lower it slightly, or do you think it looks fine the way it is??

Any input is appriciated.

Don't go with cheap coilovers, do it the right way! And don't lower it too much, otherwise you'll be looking at $500-600 in camber kits and alignments, assuming you install it yourself! I think it looks fine though.

Looks good. I was going to buy those same wheels when I had my civic. I would keep the stock height. My civic was lowered 1.5 inches on eibach springs and beleive me crawling up and down driveways gets old really fast. Also, roads with bumps or potholes become scary.

Not too much tho. I have my Accord lowered 1.7, and I can't drive over speed bumps any more At least it looks good, I guess. No more ugly fender gap

Dude save your money for the engine swap PLEASE! Don't 'ghettofy' that beautiful Accord. It looks good, drives good, turns good. Its good.

If you don't want wheen gap get some 16's in there, I saw a 97 Accord with CL rims today and it was nice! Barely any gap too!

Wheel gap is NOT affected by the size of the rim until you get past 18's.

Eh, what was really ghetto was the condition of the stock hubcaps..........nasty lol.

Actually, the whole thing was in pretty rough shape when I got her Scratched headlights, scratches all over, extremely dirty engine bay, cracked hubcaps, squeeky belts and pulleys It was 1st Degree Accord Abuse I tell ya, former owner should have been shot

I initially got it as a fun car to fix up and maybe give to my brother, but I got attatched to her lol The only thing about it i'm not too fond of is...I wish the suspension was a lil bit stiffer, but it needs all new shocks/springs....I was just going to go w/ a 3/4 inch drop, Tein or Tanabe Coilovers...nothin drastic, but wanted the good stuff I brought it back by the half azzed car dealership about 2 months ago and they couldn't beleive it was the same car they sold me

That's part of the reason I'm looking into a different engine @ only 240k...I have no clue what kind of maintanance schedule she was on before i got her Probably none at all.

If you're going on a budget, Eibach Pro-Kits with KYB AGX shocks are the way to go. It'll give you a good, near-stock ride and it won't break your bank (assuming you install it yourself).

Rich people don't see it but you can buy "coilovers" for 200 bucks. Those suck big time.

I don't like Tanabe...they ricerfy everything
