Electromagnetic backup sensor
I would like to ask if anybody has installed the electromagnetic backup sensor listed in the following web site: http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/Ele...r-Buyers-Guide. I am curious how it fits on 8th-generation accord and whether there are any authorized installer in US.
Thanks, Own 2 Accords |

It is universal. All you do is install the sensor strip inside the bumper and route all the wire inside the car. They have it on ebay too.

I have one, it's very useful and I got it for $10 on eBay.
It's really easy to install, it took me about 30 mins. I had to clean the bumper so that the strip could adhere to it, and just for security I put electric tape on the top of the strip. Connecting to power and mounting the buzzer is a pain though, but it sure beats drilling into the OEM Bumper. I wouldn't totally rely on it, because many factors affect the range (rain), but it sure helps. When it rings, you're about 2-2.5 feet away from the obstacle. You could buy the cheap Chinese made ultrasonic sensor for around $30, and it will tell you precisely the distance. However, I recommend re-soldering the whole computer chip, because the connections inside are weak.

mine uses like the ultrasonic one. but it came standard from the factory, so it was painted over with the same color as the bumper.
make little noise and the frequency gets faster if you are near obstacles when u back off
