HID Lights Stopped Working!

I purchased Night Vision 35w digital from RetroSolution with the relay harness about ten days ago. I was so exited to get them installed and did, with the help of Steve. Two days after the right bulb would not fire up . Turned them off then on and they worked fine. Three days ago I was coming home and out of the blue they just turned off. After trying to turn them off then on for two blocks I gave up and had to drive with only my fogs on. As I'm pulling in my garage the f***ing lights turned on all on their own. Tonight after the game I was gonna go out to get some smokes and my lights would not turn on at all. I checked the fuse thats attached to the red wire from the battery and it looked fine to me. Are there any more fuses? What else should I do? PLEASE HELP!!!

they are not grounded properly. trust me on this one. I had the exact same issue, ground them to the battery -ve terminal and they should fire up just fine. it took, 6 people and about 5 hours at the NJ meet to figure out that a bad ground bolt was to blame for my HID's to not fire up! try that out. if they dont, then exchage cos usually when both stop working togther its not the ballasts or the bulbs its the grounding or something like that!

put the relay harness ground on the -ve terminal and make sure no wires are disconnected. if you are using them for the headlamps, you dont even need a relay harness to be honest!

there are no more fuses to check. if you are sure your wiring is correct, power and ground wires are tight, then the only option i see is contacting them for an RMA.

trust me lisa, my ground was horrible! also OP make sure you test out the system by getting rid of the relay harness, just attach your Low beam connectors directly to the ballasts. If they fire up then the relay harness has some kind of problem with it! if they dont fire up, remove and flip the OEM harness to ballast connection and try again. if all else fails contact retro-solutions!

I agree with this one... its the ground... me and my friend installed nightvisions from retro 2 weeks ago and one side wouldnt fire up... we didnt ground it to the battery ground but to an existing bolt on the car... turns out it wasnt getting any metal contact so we had to Scratch some paint off.. it worked after that with no problems...

bad ground or loose connection somewhere.

Try to connect the ground directly to -ve post on the battery. If problem persists, start retracing back from bulb to harness to ballast to battery, making sure there is solid connection.

If you're not using the relay harness how are you guys grounding it? Stick a ground wire from the ballast casing to the (-) of the battery terminal?

If you are not using a relay harness the ballast will plug into the stock harness which contains power and ground wire.. So there is no need for external wiring.
