Inspire

Hello again,

Found this pics of the 06 Honda Accord Inspire (Japan version of Accord).I think the front end looks so much better than the US Accord version.Wish I can make my Accord's front end look sort of similar to this...
What do you all think???

Dang, they manage to make the inspire's front grille bigger every year. I tried the conversion. Got a price and with shipping it would've been a good 4k or more.

I like it. Maybe some of that look will find its way onto the 8th generation for the US market.

If that would have been the USA version right from the start in 2003 I predict they would have sold so many more accords. It is perfect and makes the rest of the car "work and flow" so much better than what the USA gets now.

If someone would sell conversion kits with the parts I bet you could make a mint.

Woah...no offense to anyone on this board who feels otherwise (to each his/her own), but I'd never trade the grill on my 2006 coupe for that one. IMO it is just way too big for the car...looks like they ripped it off a Pilot or CRV or something. To me the coupe's grill for 2006 (same as the sedan's grill 2003-2006 I believe) is just so much sleaker, giving the car a more aggressive appearance...

I do like the hood, bumper, headlights, and fogs though.

I fully agree, I really don't like the grille, too big and too much chrome. I much prefer the Mugen replacement grille. I'm going to check into what pricing I can get the hood for from my brother-in-law when we go back out to Japan later this year and then see about shipping. If it's not too bad then I'll either get the Mugen grille or fabricate one of my own, since both hood and grille have to be replaced at the same time. The bumper is identical and you can order JDM fogs online already. The whole Mugen body kit would be nice too. http://www.mugen-power.com/street/inspire/index.html

I Agree...Mugen grill does look nice. I still do like the USDM grill but I'd take this one as well (still looks kinda big for the car...but much much much better without all that stock chrome). Bodykit looks real nice...too bad there isn't an Inspire Coupe in Japan...I'd like to see what they would do with ours (7th gen Accord coupe).

Not to ricey for me, I have always liked the mugen stuff. They know what they are doing!
