parking lot of one of the panera bread's that i go to on occasion.....
taken around 2am conditions getting worse with each passing minute..... btw, on the way up there, saw a 6th gen accord hit a pole, along with a kia spectra stuck on a hill with non-working 4WD...  tried to help them out, got them started, but couldn't keep it going....

driving back south on 309 now...... visibility going downhill pretty fast, mod to occasional heavy snow, along with gusty winds kicking up blowing snow....
taken around 315am...

ok, back on rte 611, passing by base..... notice the poor visibility.... couldn't see the road (or headlights shining onto snow) half the time at this point....
 still able to get around tho... taken around 330am...

ok, i know that this pick is very poor in quality, as in no focus.... but remember, i am trying to snap pics and keep car on road here.... winds kicking up blowing snow big time now, at times couldn't see road or anything more than 20 feet (if that) in front of me..... should've went home at this time, but didn't, yet...... was only doing 20, defroster at full blast, barely keeping snow and ice at bay here....
taken around 430am, about to call it quits now, getting too bad for me to drive, and that's saying alot...    EDIT: this is a 4-lane local road, btw....  not much road that you can see in the pic....

the aftermath....
ok, went to bed close to 5am.... woke up at 11am, come out to this..... had about 13.5" of the ground by then..... took me about 30 minutes (and help from people) to get out of this parking spot.... had gotten stuck.... wtf?
dude, where's my car?  ^^^^^^^^^^ sorry, had to say it...  taken around 11am, before the digging began.....

well, after driving this mrng, the roads were still passable, but troublesome if you were not careful.....

those are the last of the pics from this storm....
maybe i will take a few more, but for the most part, it was very enjoyale to say the least....      note: the roads have not improved much since this mrng.... the way that they were plowing on the way to work, thought that most of it would be blacktop by now..... not the case..... mostly snow/ice pack...dropping into low-mid teens tonight.... salt useless....
