Exclamation P2R Releases Ported Intake Runners for 08+ i4 Accord / 09+ TSX i4!!!

Throwdown Performance has worked with P2R to release a new performance product for you i4 guys

Ported Intake Runners for the i4 Accord!

P2R Ported Intake Manifold runners are brand new from Honda, and then ported by P2R for increased flow. Port diameter is increased, factory casting marks are removed, and then the ports are smoothed to perfection.

Only item with that manifold is that it has not been tested on an Accord yet, so unfortunately it's not guaranteed to work & skunk2 doesn't have much interest to see if it fits

And the spacers have not been made yet.

you can't use this (ported inner injector manifold) with the skunk2 manifold as thats a 1 piece IM unlike accord/tsx 2 piece manifolds .
I am not so sure skunk2 IM would help on gen8 accord as IMO since its a short runner IM you would lose low-mid range TQ and Accord is not light weight nor can it rev higher than 7k at the moment .Those types are good for higher revving K20/24 engines

Cost will be slightly less than the V6 version at around ~300 shipped. This part has not been dyno'd yet, infact there is only one that currently that exists.

But yayy for i4 performance parts ... I know you guys have been waiting

Install isn't too difficult but you are removing the intake runner. It really depends on your level of experience.

I'd definitely recommend using a thermal intake manifold gasket while installing this.

Ported = smooth = less restrictive / smoother flow I believe.

for this type manifold you basically want a smooth transition from the plastic runners to this intermediate manifold and than smooth transition to the intake head ports (meaning no steps in runner size) .Also smoothness only up to a point ,some slight roughness is good for flow .
I have no idea if this manifold runner size is smaller than the head or plastic manifold runners but good chance it is .

From K20.org post on the new stock manifold with pic's and opinions .
