heated seats

I have a 08 accord coupe ex-l..was wondering those of you with heated seats does the passenger side back also heat up? I sat in it the other day and noticed that the back rest but on the driver side it does.

Likely not, Honda has been using their passenger seat occupant sensing system to determine the force and velocity of the airbag deployment based on passenger weight, part of this system is installed in the passenger seat back, hence no heating element for the seat back.

Your right - the driver's side does both the back and the bottom while the passenger side only does one of them.
