I can't find any of my own photos, but my first Honda was the '96 Accord EX Coupe 5 spd, bought in 2003. Same color and look as this picture.

My first was a 1977 Accord hatchback, my last was a 2001 Accord LX sedan. Still in the family at 217K.

Now I'm driving my first Hyundai, a 2009 I30cw (Touring) 5 door and loving it. It won't be my last Hyundai.

My first was a white '84 accord, no AC & no PS. It looked like this one:

1987 Civic Si (just like one in photo). Bought it new. Drove the crap out of it every single day of it's life. Sold it with 128,800 miles. The car did not have ONE mechnical problem. It was 100.0% trouble-free for its whole life! I've never had a car that reliable. All I replaced were maintenance items like the tires, head lights, exhaust, brakes, battery, etc. That was truly an awesome car!

1986 HOnda Civic DX. Bought her at 100K for $2K, sold at 200K for $1K. No issues ever, wear and tear items only. I don't have any pics, but looked just like this one. I miss that car, used to go 400+ miles on 10 gallons of gas.........

When I was a Junior in high school I bought this 1998 automatic V6 Accord coupe from some guy. I guess I was distracted by the nice body lines (coming from a '93 Sentra SE coupe) and thought the body kit was kinda cool.

The body kit looked like sh*t. The front was badly painted, the sides and rear bumper were spray painted red (?? I hadn't noticed when I bought it, it blended in, but later noticed it was dull) and there was an axle back exhaust which actually sounded decent. It also had a HUGE tach on the dash... Why? No idea. Tape on mirror blinkers, pedal covers, etc. Yeeaaah.




A little later I started learning and getting more into cars. I couldn't afford to sell it at the time so I just decided to fix it up and at least make it look decent. In some ways I might've made it worse, but hey, you live and you learn. I had the entire kit repainted, bought new side skirts and mounted them correctly so they were snug, removed the tach, cleaned up the paint a LOT, etc.

I owned it for like 2.3 years and sold it, bought a stock '03 Accord and started fresh

In some ways I do miss this car though, it was flashy, ha. But I definitely like the clean direction I'm going in now.
