Factory/OEM alarm too sensitive

I have the dealer-added factory alarm system, and I find it too sensitive. It goes off when a loud muffler or subwoofer bass drives by. Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity myself? I tried to search for this issue but only came up with aftermarket alarms. Thanks, mates!

are you sure the dealer didn't already put in an aftermarket alarm, because my car doesn't go off when a loud ricer passes by

bring it to the dealer to adjust the sensitivity. mine was way too sensitive when they did mine. it would go off randomly at 3-4am for no particular reason (i assumed it was a small quake or an animal or something). they turned it down some, and it's worked perfectly since.

A few times it would randomly go off, so that was the last straw. I'll just let the dealership adjust the sensitivity. My car is still under warranty so I hope that work will be covered. I was hoping to be able to do it myself to save the trip and trouble.
