TPMS Light

Hello guys I need to know if I can disable the light on the dashboard for the TPMS, my issue is that I want to put new rims and I don't want to switch the dongle from the original rims to the new rims, cause is a pain in the butt and they will charge me more..

So I don't want the light on, once I put the new tires with out the dongle in the tires

any suggestions?

thx

You can disassemble the gauge cluster and desolder the LED, cover it with tape, or live with it. You can't disable VSA if the TPMS light is on if you care about that.

I would just transfer the TPMS sensor to the new wheels, it doesn't cost that much.

Yeah I did that the first time and then I went back to the original rims now Im gonna buy new tires 225/35/R20 and they have to dismount the original tires to take it out and put it back to the aftermarket rims

but that light will bother me, I didn't have to reprogram the Computer to recognize the new pressure 40psi

^^^ Ditto. An extra set of sensors is around $100.
