WeatherTech Window Visors

Just got a set of these today for my coupe. Any tricks/tips on how to remove the Weathertech stickers without damaging the visor? They look to be on there pretty good. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

Maybe heat them up a bit? Use a hair dryer or heat gun (lightly!) and warm it up, then just try to peel it off. Maybe use some residue remover like Goo Gone to get any left over stickyness. GL! I just left mine on.

Use some kind of adhesive remover. We have some stuff at work called 'Irradicator' and it worked amazing. Not sure of other products that would be similar.

It's kind of funny..when I got mine, I would've had no issue leaving the stickers on there, but once I noticed that one of them was worn quite a bit, I decided they all had to go.

Anyway...it took a while. I struggled with adhesive remover which is amazing stuff but didn't seem to help a lot. I still had to do most of the work picking away at it with a fingernail, occasionally hitting it with WD40 and a cloth to clean the remaining residue. It's one of those stickers that doesn't really peel off, just kind of falls apart, so it was a pain.

Post up some pictures of your WeatherTech Visors when you get them installed.

Those blasted Weathertech decals

Yah, I had the Weathertech window visors on my Maxima and hated those cheap little decals, especially after they started to peel off after 2 years sun exposure. I emailed the company complaining and requesting a warranty replacement and never heard from them. While shopping around for visors and floorliners for my EX-L, I talked to the company and expressed my disgust. They told me to heat the things with a hair dryer and use alcohol to wipe off the sticky. Took about 10 minutes to get just 25% of one sticker off, then decided to wait until I found a heatgun. I paid $150 for two window visors and front floorliners, and while Weathertech's stuff looks the best, I wish they had more competition to bring the price down.

Just curious, why do you want take the stickers off? I have the deflectors on my sedan and the stickers are barely even noticeable.

I took the stickers off mine with the help of some WD40 and just picking at it. Took maybe 5 minutes total.
