Razo pedals...opinions?

Hey all,

I've been planning on getting some replacements for the stock pedals in my 6spd. I've read on some other forums that people like Razo pedals, and I've come across these that I do like a fair amount:

Pic of them installed (AT pedals though):

The only thing that bothers me is that once I looked into this more I found out that in almost all cases these "replacements" are just covers for your stock pedals, and most of them (including these Razos) just "clip" on to your existing set (so no drilling or anything). Does anyone else have clip-on pedals and have they caused you any issues over time? I worry that they could fall off/shift or something while driving, which is something I definitely do not want happening.

Also, if anyone else here has Razo pedals (or any other brand) please let me know what you think of them...in terms of build quality, do they last, have you had any issues, etc.

Thanks in advance...

Momo pedals use a bolt/nut to hold it on

I never really understood why people would want new pedals...so I have no comment on their looks/function

Nice looking. I don't race so the proximity of the pedals for heel/toe driving doesn't appeal to me personally. I have fat feet so I'd probally be braking/accellerating at the same time....a lot!

I don't track my Accord but I really want to be able to heal/toe and figure these would help make it easier to accomplish. Plus I always liked "sportier" pedals, and its something easy to add which doesn't scream "come steal me" since you would have to be staring into the window to see anyhow. Plus I think it would already "go" well with the faux CF trim in my EX (pedals are real CF inserts).

I guess the one good part about them being clip on is that if I decide to get rid of them I'm just out the money for the pedals...and not the stock pedals as well. Plus I figure these would take damage in Canadian winters (all the salt), so I could technically pull them off when I put my snow tires on...

Still I worry they could somehow fall off, or that they could break or something on me down the road...

They'll hold fine, just make sure you tighten the bolts that hold then on securely. I sold them for a few years and had a set similar to those on my Rodeo with no problem for years.

I like them. Always liked the look of aluminum pedals, especially on a MT. Plus, if they help in the heel-toe action, sounds great!

Dude, there neat but your feet don't have eyes. Use your money to put on something everyone sees.

Yeah but "something everyone sees" = Something for people to try and steal. Plus I want to be able to heal/toe in my Accord and I've tried...but it just doesn't seem easy to do with the stock setup of the car (not saying impossible...but not very easy).

These pedals (if I get them) would only cost around $80 CDN, so its not that much. I'm also planning to go with the 17mm rear sway off the current gen TL...but thats still a few months out (want to learn the limits of my current setup first).
