Dings and Dents, Hairdryer and Compressed Air Method
Hi, I am just wondering if anyone has tried the Hairdryer and Compressed Air Method, and been successful in demoving small dents or dings in the sheet metal. It all looks pretty impressive on youtube. I have a small "impression" on the front fender near the tire well close to where the seam for the door panel is. I was going to call a dent guy but saw alot of DIY on youtube but wanted to see if anyone here has tried it? Any issues with the paint for example? Or should this be left to the professionals? It is small and hardly noticable but I would still like it out..Any words of wisdom?

Maybe on a 12yr old/200k car I would try it on. But not a 20k+ car. If something gets messed up the PDR guys won't want to touch it. I'd just bring it to them or vice versa and let them have at it for not much dinero.

That method will never work 100%, don't waste your time on it.
Call the reputable PDR guy, search google map around your area for best reviewed guy. They will work the magic. |
