Cel p3400

Well has anyone heard of this CEL P3400 I took it to Auto Zone

Definition: Valve pause system (VPS) stuck off
Probable cause
1. Engine oil level fault
2. Rocker arm oil level fault
3. Faulty EOP sensor engine oil pressure
4. Incorrect oil type used
5. Engine mechanical condition

Since oil level shows up so often as a possible cause, I assume you've checked your oil level and its OK?

Looked up the cel # here http://engine-codes.com/p3400.html and it looks like your VCM system is stuck in off mode, which I assume means you're running on all 6 cylinders all the time. You seem to have done by accident what many on this forum have been trying to do on purpose.
