Wind noise around drivers door.

Hey, I have noticed the 08 sedan we have has wind noise around what seems to be the drivers side window. I don't think its coming from the the door seals, it sounds like the window is down a little. Anybody have this problem? If so, have you been able to fix it? Thanks for your help.

Take Armoural or anything like it. soak a rag and then use it to soak all the rubber trim in the inside of window trim and all the door outside rubber trim, IF you spray it on don't get it on the glass. It's a pain to get off. Really soak down any thing you see thats looks like rubber. Try this first.

Armor All = garbage and BS. It's silicone based so you dont want to be using that on any rubber.

the wind noise you hear is coming from the driver side around the door handle/window switch. I had the same issue, so i took my door panels off, you will see a grey foam cover with plastic (vapor barrier) on the door. Around the grey foam area its opened, so if you tape that up your noise is reduced. I sound deadened my door entirely, so i get no more wind noise, and my midbass is amazing.

I get something like this too on driver side. Mostly on highway. I looked at the doors and I might think its the door itself that maybe not aligned right...when comparing to the passenger side(I have an coupe ex-l). The top right side of the driver's door not being 'flush' with the rest of the frame maybe?

Armor All is an awful product to use.

I'm also having a slight wind leak noise (but no actual leak) around the bottom rear corner of my drivers side window... The only thing I can think of would be the trim around the window has a few wear/tear small tears in it about 1mm deep.... Maybe its air flowing through them.

I'm going to replace the window trim / felt or whatever it is that touches the window when I get my windows tinted.. I'll make a thread about it with the result.

Doesn't bother me too much as its not very obnoxious and its only 45-50mph+

Thanks.. How hard is the door panel to remove?

3 screws if its a sedan and you just pull it off. easy to do

2 screws behind the door open handle cover
1 screw at the door close handle behind a single cover.
Im sure there are instructions somewhere on the forum.

I got the same issue with my 09 Sedan EX. Wind is very noticeable at the highway speed.

Just deaden the door after removing the plastic rain barrier and that should solve the wind issue.I'm planning to this b/c I got same issue at highway speed.
