Leather seats...

How hard is it to get the dealer to replace the front seats?

Whats wrong with your leather?

Anyway, if you are paying them to do it than I think they will be more than happy to do it right away but I think you want it done under warranty, right? well it depends if its normal wear and tear than no but if something out of the ordinary than maybe yes.

I want to know if any one has a web site where they sell the leather seats for our cars or at least the covers

My Honda dealer offered to put leather on any car seat on any auto I wanted to buy, around 4-500 dollars for two seats, it's a value-added service

The leather on my 2008 Accord driver seat was biodegradable. My dealer took photos of the premature wearing of the seat and sent them to the Honda regional rep. The rep approved leather replacement in a matter of minutes after receiving the photos.

Seems the leather Honda uses is not very durable. I have a 15 year old Jag with leather that's held up better than the leather on my 2008 Accord.

I think Honda gets the cheapest "leather" they can. My armrest has bubbles all over it after 2.5 years.

The leather in your Jag is REAL, and far superior quality.
After owning 2 cars with leather seats, I will never have leather again.

Don't mean to be "that guy" but my 2002 Honda Accord leather everything held up for 10 years without hardly any signs of wear. Only put "Leather Conditioner" on the leather a couple of times in 10 years. Of course I babied that thing to death.
My point is I prefer leather and would never use anything else.
My new Accord may change my mind, the "leather" in it seems totally fake but time will tell.

www.katzkin.com
looked like a reasonable set up, I considered it. It has a local shop too (SAT) so it wouldn't be a hassle.

Wont putting Aftermarket leather on your honda accord render your side airbag useless? (the one in the chair?)

Amen....most of the leather in mid 20-30k econocars is leather like...in that it's real leather, but almost too thin to hold up......it's a HUGE chunk of a mfrs warranty budget.

A great education on leather from the place I get my briefcases from:
