2013 Honda Accord Trim Levels Leaked

Quote:
Late last month, an eager dealership leaked details on the upcoming 2013 Honda Accord, and now dealerships have received a memo with information on the 2013 Accord trim levels.

Dealerships will now be able to place orders on the 2013 Honda Accord sedan, which will be available in the following trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, V6 EX-L, and V6 Touring. All 2013 Honda Accord sedan models will come with rearview camera, 8-inch i-MID TFT screen with Pandora and SMS text messaging capability, 16-inch wheels, chrome door handles, Bluetooth, USB, dual-zone climate control, auto on/off headlights, and security alarm.

Those that opt for the Sport trim will receive 18-inch wheels, 8-way power driver’s seat, fog lights, dual exhaust, rear spoiler, and paddle shifters. As for the EX, 17-inch wheels will be bolted onto each corner while Honda equips it with its LaneWatch technology – essentially a blind spot display. Also on the EX model are side mirrors with turn signal indicators and a power moonroof.

As for the EX-L, the top-of-the-line four-cylinder model will get leather seats and steering wheel, audio with touchscreen, multi-angle rearview camera, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, XM Radio, heated front seats, and navigation is available as an option. As for the V6 EX-L model, LED daytime running lights, Homelink, and a dual exhaust sets itself apart from the cheaper, four-cylinder models.

A new Touring model was also noted on the release, but simply said “Includes all of the aforementioned EX-L features and some additional car features.”

Aesthetically, I think the only piece that I like from the concept model are the new tail lights. They kind of remind me of the tails on the Acura TL. Nice changes, but don't think it's enough to pull me away from my 2011 V6 Coupe...maybe 2014

In direct injection the fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber. With "regular" (there are many different ways to do it) fuel injection the fuel is typically injected into the intake manifold.

Direct injection allows the engine to run higher compression, helps with emissions, and allows better management of the amount of fuel for each cylinder. i.e. more power, less emissions, and better mileage.
