I have Kumho LX Platinums on my '06 EX coupe. MUCH better and quieter than the Bridgestone Potenzas that came with it when I got it. I highly recommend them, especially at a good price.

It depends on your location. If you need a All Season, Ultra High Performance, Luxury or Touring.

I'm running Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. Wanted Continental Extreme Contact DW, but they were out of stock in my size and could not wait.

Sweet, another topic that could have been answered by using the search function or by going to discounttiredirect.com or tirerack.com

Sodak, I agree the search function is not used by noobs often enough. However the answers found at your recommended websites would not give a personal opinion from drivers of our specific make/model/generation.
I believe he was looking for a more personal recommendation, thus being the reason for this particular forum, lighten up a bit sodak...

As for the OP, please do use the search function before attempting to pose to what is quite a common question. You would find that kumho is a popular and often requested brand. Good luck to ya!

I know for a fact that on tirerack.com you can filter the response/reviews to tires to honda accord. Most accords drive the same and people often put their model year in their reviews. He can also narrow his search to reflect his style/type of driving. That site has reviews from 10's of 1000's of people compared to a few hundred from this site.

Like mentioned, read a lot of tire reviews, and decide what tire fits your needs. I've read tons of reviews from every tire site I could find. For my needs, the Michelin Primacy MXV4 sounds like a good bet. I have Bridgestone Turanza tires right now, and while they perform great, even on wet roads, they are noisey as heck. From the reviews I've read, the Michelins are much quieter, and should have good traction for a touring tire. Bridgestone has come out with the "Serenity" now, which I guess is supposed to be quieter, but I'm having a hard time believing it. You might want something different from your tires, so reading reviews is the best way to find your set. Good luck

I've really enjoyed both Primacy MXM4's on the V6 and MXV4's on my I4. They are quite quiet and it doesn't degrade noticeably as the tire wears. I drive somewhat hard and get a prorating at around 25k-30k usually on both. The weakest point is wear for every Michelin I've owned but your mileage will vary. Their virtues are worth it IMHO. I'm in upstate NY and both V rated sets are decent in the snow and competent in the rain. The M4 being the better tire in the rain.

Check out tirerack and discount like suggested. It'll really help you out.

I understand that you're new to the forum. That's why I've suggested using the search function. Sorry that I may not have put it as eloquently as you need.

I replaced a set of Bridgestone Potenza with Primacy MXV4. A bit softer but waaay quieter. The Potenzas (Potenzae?) were really noisy.

Noisy tires tend to be better in wet, or less squishy in turns (firmer ride, less roll). Quieter tires tend to be less good in wet, squirmier cornering. All a question of the hardness of the compound and tread pattern design.

Also, V-rated tend to wear faster, 20-30k miles; H-rated tend to last twice as long. V-rated's only necessary if you race or drive at sustained high speed across the desert in hot weather. H-rated is fine for short commutes.

This is generally speaking. Specific tire reviews will provide more detail, of course.

Also, lower profile tires on larger rims: noisier. Tires with high profile sidewalls on smaller rims, much quieter. Rim size is mainly an aesthetic issue though higher-profile sidewall tires will tend to roll more in cornering, common sense.
