Shifting has greatly improved since switching to new Honda synthetic transfluid

My shifting has improved greatly since switching to Honda DW1

And yes it's been about 2k miles and it's still good.

I did one drain and fill, and also put in 5 ounces of lubeguard red trans additive. It has shifted the best it ever has. The car has 115k miles on it

I urge others to try the new honda trans fluid and lubeguard red

The drain bolt is lefty loosey, righty tighty.

Just imagine it's a soda bottle and you want to take the cap off

Is this the first time you changed it? I'm sure the lubeguard made a big difference. I need to get some of that stuff. Where did you buy the LG?

Hey satin. it's the second time i changed it. the first time i used atfz1 and it was better, but went back to it's old ways. That said, the first z1 did help.

But this Dw1 change with added lubeguard red has helped alot, and the effects are lasting.

I bought the LG red from NAPA auto parts. You should try it and report back please!!

Lay down and use your foot to push on the ratchet or breaker bar. That bolt is coming off.

When I'm doing ATF fluids on Hondas for family or friends that have never been changed, I always use my foot to push.

I've loosened many a bolt using my legs. Nodrgog321 you should be pushing toward the rear of the car , granted the bolthead is facing driver side like on my car 04 4dr v6 5at.

I spoke to Philip96 via PM.

I now recommend throwing the whole bottle of lube guard red in there. I have had no problems, and if anything its better. so that's 3 quarts of DW1+1 bottle of lube guard red for an automatic transmission
