Noise From Tire or From Wheel Bearing
Hello Everyone,
I do hope someone can help me. I am driving a 2008 Honda Accord (EXL-Navi). I have recently installed 4 All Season Michelin Tires. I have recently notice this issue, whenever I am driving within 60 kms speed I do not get any noise from tire. Whenever I am driving over 100 kms spped I do not get any noise from tire but whenever I am driving between 70 kms to 80 kms I do get a noise from my tire. I am not sure whether I am getting that noise from my tire or from wheel bearing. I have also noticed that I do not get that noise on some roads, especially when the road is very smooth I do get that noise. Can anybody give me some idea what could be the problem? Thanks you. |

If the noise was not there before you had the new tires installed then I would say there is an issue with one or more of the new tires.
IF noise was there prior then you might want to look @ the wheel bearings. Also can you describe the sound of the noise??

The noise is kind of Air circulation noise. Sounds like the Air is passing through my tire and generating that noise. When I drive keeping my window open I do not get any noise from the tire may be because of Air is getting into my car and that takes the noise away. Whenever I drive with all my window close then I do get those noise from inside the card looks like it's coming from Front Wheel at the driver side.
As I said I do get the noise when I drive between 70 kms and 90 kms |

It can also be air moving thru the groves of the tire. Install a temp tire on left front and test, if noise is there its your bearing, if noise is gone its your tires.

I took my car to Honda Service Centre they have confirmed me that the noise is coming from Rear Wheel Bearing. I am going to replace that soon.
Thank you guys for all your advise. |

The front right bearing / hub on my 2011 Accord was replaced at approximately 9,000 miles. FYI
