98 accord ex v6 auto 100,000 mile

the driver's side axle seal was leaking, that mean anything to you guys? tranny acting up when cold.

Try replacing the seal first. If it starts leaking again, your carrier bearings inside the transmission are probably worn out which allows the axle to move around more than the seal can handle. The bearings require a transmission teardown for replacement.
