Exclamation Broke/lost some of the red clips in the console/radio in my 2011 Accord.

So while trying to instal an iPhone connector kit on my 2011 Accord I broke/lost a couple of those red clips holding the console and radio in place. Anyone know the proper name/part number and where I can buy some?

the dealer parts dept should have them, they will have exploded diagrams - just point the part out.

big parts I order online, the cosf of shipping small parts like that often make it more expensive than just hitting up a local dealer .... just my $.02

my dealer charges me 2x their cost for parts. even if i install it myself. if your dealer likes you and sells it at cost, then i agree it's best to go through them. just look up the price online at the sites mentioned above, then ask them for the part and see what they quote you.

I looked into it and the dealer would have to order the clips and each go for $3.70 vs $1.12 online. Since the dealer would have to order the 4 I need anyways I'll just do the same.

I still dont have a way to connect my iPhone to the car though.

that's what having overhead results in. most businesses want to make money. if their employees handle something, there is markup. they want their time spent to result in profits.
