Power Dropoff at High RPM
It seems like this has happened a few times now.
When bringing my car up to high rpms it will sometimes cut out (its not VSA kicking in, its usually around 6000 rpm). Its enough of a drop in power that I actually get thrown forward. After that, the engine starts to struggle a little bit to keep any sort of power until I shift then its fine until I reach about 6000 rpm again. I researched the problem somewhat and all I can tell is its either the clutch slipping, the transmission slipping, or theres something seriously wrong with my engine. Anybody who has experience with this would be great, I'm afraid I'll have to take it to the dealer to get it fixed and if I can't tell them whats wrong they will NEVER be able to replicate it.

Are you hitting the rev limiter?

No I usually shift around 6500-6800 when this happens

You might want to eliminate the I-throttle as a possible source of your problem. Naturally it shouldn't be the cause of your difficulty, but if I was troubleshooting your issue I would want to eliminate the possibility before I spent too much money.

Yeah, that was the first thing I did too. I know it takes a while for the ECU to readjust and its been about a month so I assume it ought to be ok, but I'm still experiencing it.
