oOo Honda Clause came!

Well, I come home from an appointment to not see only one, but two, Honda boxes sitting on my porch!

Delivered Today:

OEM HFP 06-07 7.5G Rear Underbody Spoiler (Cool Blue Metallic)

OEM 06-07 Coupe Splash Guards (will only be installing the front, with having the rear lip, if anyone is interested in the rears LMK I'll give you a good price)

Delivered Last Week:

Spec-D Tuning Fog lamps (paid $0.95! HA) - They are completely installed except for the final wiring inside the vehicle. (A T-storm was on its way and the second I got the bumper and radiator cover back on, it started down pouring! haha I will hopefully finish up wiring them tomorrow if the rain holds off).

OEM HFP 06-07 7.5G Front Underbody Spoiler (Silver)

Now that I have the entire kit, I can drop it off at my body guy's shop tomorrow to get them painted Graphite I can't wait to get them installed!

Picture time!

Haha thanks Keith I forgot to mention I just ordered today the GTA iPod/iPhone AUX Adapter - allows full functionality of OEM radio & steering wheel controls, plus comes with a 3.5mm jack cable and iPhone cable to charge the phone while plugged in.

Well, I think I officially will have her right where I want her for the time being. Not too shabby for only owning her a month! Time to give my wallet a break though

That's the exact same adapter I got. It works great. Except I don't have steering wheel controls

But seriously. Lol you've tricked this thing out man and in so little time. People might think you went out and bought another car! Haha. The only other thing I could think of would be some new wheels and slight lowering to get rid of the gap in the front :/. That's what is next on my list.

Honestly, I love my EX-L V6 wheels as they're unique to only this trim/engine combo - but if I were to trade, it would be for the newer '10 V6 10-spokes which are very similar anyhow haha Just maybe will have less rash than mine accumulated being a Chicago car (they aren't bad and you can hardly tell they have slight rash unless you get up close). I lowered my other car and honestly got so sick of sitting on the ground. I'm perfectly content with where the Accord sits and love the ride so I don't see suspension any time soon unless say 3 of my struts go bad and I have to replace them anyhow (which with 24k miles I highly doubt it)

I wasn't meaning slam it. Just about a 1.5" drop to even out that gap. Lol. But hey with 24k I don't blame you. That thing is an absolute diamond. No rough included. Nice work man car is gonna be super clean.

Supply and Demand my friend :-\

Honestly, the coupe lips are now only down to Taf White, Cool Blue, Saph Blue and Red. The Taf White is more expensive than the other three. The Desert Storm was always like $90 cheaper but are now discontinued. I'm just lucky I was able to find a silver front and cool blue rear that I can get painted. I love knowing they are OEM

Made some real progress today!

OEM Splash Guards (Front) installed:

Fog lights wired up:

I used the entire Spec-D Tuning kit (lamps, harness, relay, switch) - remember, I paid $0.95 thanks to Amazon!

After cutting some 14G wire I had left over from a mod on the previous car, I used a male/female connector and ran the 12V directly to the battery. They were then heat shrinked for water protection. Finally, wrapped in electrical tape. All wires were safely tucked away and zip tied to the OEM harness. Safety first!

I have read through a lot of the DIY's and other posts of folks having issues using the "eBay" kits. I decided to go the safe route, utilizing a Share-A-Fuse, and chose the 20A P/W AS (Passenger) fuse as my Remote On power source. I have checked everything (windows, roof, blinkers, lights, radio) and none has been affected

Fogs w/ DRL:

Fogs w/ Parking:

Fogs w/ Retro:

Lastly, today, I was able to drop the front & rear lips off at my body guy's place. He thinks it's going to be about 2 weeks b/c he's really backed up but he does perfect work and has done a lot for me so he always does it for a great deal! I will wait 2 weeks, gladly, to have the peace of mind that I know they will be painted correctly.

I used this too when I did mine. Worked great!

What's the plan with the pin stripe? It looks like there's just glue residue left? I used a
rubber pin stripe remover rubber pin stripe remover
that I borrowed from a friend with my cordless drill. Then I "buffed" it with my porter cable and it looks great now that it's gone.

Ugh...don't get me started on that pin stripe LOL The dealership I bought the car off of SUX at waxing! It's a black pin stripe and that's the white that you see. Every time I wash the car, I buff and buff but it's dried wax at this point - so each wash I get a little more off... one day she'll be clean again! They got some on my front grille and underneath the driver headlamp too. Very novice work.

Either way the pin stripe should be removed. Unless you really like it.
