Tail light Question

I have an 04 accord ex 4 dr 4cyl auto and the right brake light doesnt lite up when i press the brake. But when I hit lock or unlock on my key fob it does lite up. Is this a simple bulb or is there a wiring issue. It looks like theres only 2 bulbs in the tail light the reverse light and the brake light but im not sure so i thought i would ask you guys. any info is great thanks

Chances are its the bulb that needs to be changed.

Shouldn't you have a turn signal bulb as well? Good luck with it!

thanks im going to change it and find out i just wanted to ask because when i hit the lock or unlock on my keyfob from the outside it looks like the same bulb as the brake light that blinks. anyway thanks again i am going to change it asap

Probably a two filaments bulb.
One of the filament is probably dead.

Be sure to buy the right bulb and you should be OK!

It i in fact a dual filament bulb, one lamp when your lightsare on and thesecond filament makes it real bright to signal you are stopping.

replace bulb as others say. brake light filament is out, but parking light filament is still ok.
