I was wondering the same thing. Are they 6.5 all the way around like the 2012? Wish that they were 6x9's in the back like my old 2000 accord.

Anyone know if you can get the window tweeter panels from the EX and put them on a sport? Id like to upgrade to components but would like the tweeter in the corner of the windows.

The two door speakers on the front are configured very similarly to the 8 gen Accord so any that would fit on the model should fit on this new model. I would recommend that you get a square of dynamat or other brand to put behind each speaker and that will help tighten up the mid-range and reduce door rattles as well.

Hello. First post here. Got an accord sport and want to upgrade the speakers. Crutchfield already has what fits in the car available, but there is not much variety. Anyone been able to replace the speakers and hint on other speakers that might fit. At Crutchfield they suggest to replace the factory speakers with either these...

or these...

Anyone tried any of those? What are your thoughts? Should I look elsewhere?

I would pass on both of those.
Ask one of their advisors via email about what specific speaker qualities you are looking for. They should be able to help out. I already sent them an email just a few minutes ago about a whole sound upgrade setup on my Sport. I learned from the past...if I don't set up a budget, I will never get it done. I'm going to try to upgrade everything( sub, mono and 4-channel amp , 4 component speakers) with a budget of ~$450. Last time I upgraded the setup on my '11 Pilot, it took me forever to finish it because I could not get myself to buy cheap stuff. I'm going to test this budget plan out. It's bound to be better than stock.

As people upgrade the stock oem speakers, please report if the aftermarkets hamper or change the ANC. I know MPG noted the changes when he changed out his front speakers.

I changed out the OEM front speakers and tweeters in my EX-L to an aftermarket MB Quart component system (while still utilizing the factory amp) this past week and my tech said when he really cranked it up, he noticed a little mid-bass drop out which he attributed to the ANC system. I myself haven't had any issues thus far with bass drop out or feedback from the ANC system and am very happy with the sound. If you have the Sport model and want to preserve the ANC like Emmanuec, you probably want to go with just straight forward coaxial speakers that can utilize the 160 watt factory amp efficiently without adding an additional amp. If you go with aftermarket components and a sub in the sport model like iggibar, you will almost certainly need two additional amps as well as tweeter mounts and connections up front. With such extensive modification to the factory system, I would expect the ANC system to really disrupt the quality of sound and would end up just deactivating it IMO.

I want to do a good upgrade, however I do not want to loose the ANC feature. I am afraid I might loose it by installing an amplifier. I was thinking of only replacing the aftermarket speakers and powering them with the stock unit.
