For anyone that actually like the OEM manual transmission shifter knob
Well, lately I've had the urge to change my shifter knob again, for like the 3rd time lol
I've always liked the look of the OEM shifter knob, but always felt it was too high, and just plained s*cked when shifting. So, I decided to try something. I popped off the shift pattern off of the knob, and I drilled all the way through the hole on the knob where the shifter lever threads into. Then I put the knob back on the shift lever and tightened it all I possibly could with all of my strength, and it sits a LOT lower. It looks really good, and shifts a little shorter. Of course we all know the only way to get the best results is having a short throw shifter, but if your on a tight budget like me, this works a little bit. It overall sits about a half an inch to 1 inch lower than stock. Give it a shot. Just make sure you pop off the shift pattern cover off of the knob first or you will drill through it!
