Possible break issue?

All right so I have a big issue with the Accord that is driving me ****ing crazy. Ever since I hit a dog last week my drivability of the car has been a nightmare.
When I hit the dog, or just before, I slammed on my breaks and slid for a little, after continuing on my way I noticed the steering wheel jerks back and forth and makes the whole car vibrate and rattle, some roads worse than others. At a slow speed of about 5 MPH I can see that with every half rotation of the tires it jerks just a little bit to the left then a little to the right.
Today I got new brake pads and resurfaced the rotors and that changed nothing, if anything its worse than before.
Any ideas?

Have your alignment checked. Or maybe you flat spotted your tires, doubtful unless you have REALLY soft tires.

Part of it being 5 AM I forget that "today," was in fact, yesterday.
Had to drive the Fiance to work since her tranny blew up(mazda, go figure) and its suking the sleep out of me.

The dog was fine, I barely grazed him with my front lip.
But it cracked my front lip. (previous damage)

I was going to suggest a bent wheel, but if the dog is OK doesn't sound like you hit it that hard.

Did you check if you knocked a wheel weight off or something like that?

You can tell joek you said "break issue" because you broke your lip. that would certainly be a break issue, now you gotta fix or replace it.

I would guess this is a steering, or suspension issue most likely. Slight chance it's an axle, engine mount, or tire problem. Ball joints or control arms would be the first things I would check. I might even raise the intire front end, and run through the gears, to try and find the problem.

I checked the wheels today, as far as I can see all weights are on there. Raised the car and checked to see if the wheel was wobbly, nada.

I work the next 4 days till 6pm so there goes taking it to a mechanic. God, driving this car is a NIGHTMARE now. The whole front of the car is swaying left and right slightly.
