APP sensor? I-throttle?

I am looking to install the I-Throttle on my 7th gen (2007 so has DBW). However, they don't have a harness specifically for the 7th gen. A bunch have people installed the I-Throttle on the 8th gen. I have seen an 8th gen harness being sold on e-bay, but they don't have it on Weapon-R's site. For you 8th gen owners with I-Throttle, are you using the Civic's harness?

Also, to help with the install, does anyone have a diagram or want to take a picture of the APP sensor harness that shows the colors of the wires?

Amazon Amazon

Is the harness that it comes with when you buy it from Throwdown.

The connectors are unidirectional. You don't even need to look at the wiring to be able to install it. You plug one end into the accelerator pedal assembly and the other into the harness that used to plug into the assembly. You then run the small wire to the control box and connect OBDII into the control box and it's done. Takes 5 minutes to install and a flashlight.

EDIT: It appears the 7th gen has a different connector than the 8th gen. If that's the case then I'd highly advise you against cutting wires to do some sort of franken-ithrottle assembly. Colors of wires isn't the proper way to line these things up across generations.

Not to mention the fact that you don't get any power from this mod, just different/better throttle repsonse.

Thanks. By asking the wire colors I was really just wondering if they were the same but if you know already that they are, then that makes it easier lol. I knew they were in different locations to begin with but i was unsure if they were different connectors altogether.

Where did he say they are the same? He says the opposite actually.

And yes the connectors are different which is why the connector is ONLY for the 8th gen accord. Otherwise it would say it fits 03-12 accords.

I meant aren't the same oops.

Ok I just thought they might have overlooked that the 06-07 models are DBW and disregarded 7th gen altogether. Thanks for your help guys!
