Do i need an LC2I for 2012 accord?

I Have a 2012 accord coupe LX S and i ordered an alpine sub and alpine amplifier. I have the non NAvi system and im aware i need a LOC. But is there a difference from getting the LC2I or a cheaper one? Im having a sterro place near here hook it up

If you're planning on good sound quality I would suggest the lc7i I have it and love it. You can connect a 4 channel amp a subwoofer. Be sure to disconnect your ANC mics as well they will interfere with sound.

I have the lc2i and yes it sounds better than a regular loc.

Why would i get the lc7i overthe lc2i? For now im just geeting a sub.. I dont know much about this stuff yet sorry. WIll the lc7i be better if i decide to upgrade speakers in my car on day? or what would i benefit from it?

Yes it's better if you are going to be adding components to your car. Go on audiocontrol.com and compare the two. If you decide to add 4 channel amp to power all speakers and subs with a good clean signal lc7i is what I recommend I haven't looked into lc2

Uhhhh, if you're just doing the sub for now, get the LC2i. If you want to add speakers in the future, get the LC6i/LC7i (that way you can have 2 fronts, 2 rears, 2 subs if you want). LC7i has their AccuBass control and it's $5 more on amazon, but otherwise all of these Audiocontrols basically do the same thing.
