finally i did manage to replace the rear speakers. include some pix with them
Lol I laughed tooWhy are the speakers facing down? Do you need sound in the trunk ?
I have a feeling this thread is about to become a big time fail with everyone trolling.
Assuming that all the clips/buttons/grommets/thingie button into the same spot, this would be a feasible solution.I am thinking about drilling a hole in the middle and mounting a 10" sub. But to make it look "factory", I was considering replacing the back deck with the higher trim part that has a grill for the subwoofer in the middle. When you had this apart, did it look like this would be an easy substitution? I think the back deck is around $100, which is less than it would cost me for a good subwoofer box or to build one.
Thanks,
Dean
Many times, the Honda parts diagrams do not show different pictures for different trim levels. They merely refer to different parts without the proper illustrations.according to the following links on estore.honda.com, they look about the same with $50 diff in price (part #7 in the illustration)

probably the touring part has the center grill hence the price differentMany times, the Honda parts diagrams do not show different pictures for different trim levels. They merely refer to different parts without the proper illustrations.
In the two links you posted, the two pictures are the same. Obviously the parts are different. The Sport and LX not having the center subwoofer grill.
It would not be correct to assume the parts are the same based on the illustrations.
