Unhappy Surging Idle problem! P0507 and P2279

The Car has been sitting for 2 weeks not being started. i go out this afternoon and she idles up as expected with the cold temp. i go back out and the thing is reving to 2000 - 1500 rpms!
the car threw 2 codes at me. a P0507 and a P2279. Ive had absolutely zero problems out of the car and this is a first. i did a small amount of searching off google and it seems to me that the problem may lie within the coolant temp sensor? Can anyone confirm this? any help is appreciated.
video inclueded!

Little update: when I originally encountered this problem it was 30 degreese out. 6 hours later I come back start it up like normal and it"cold idles" near perfect. No surge at all. Can anything justify this at all?
Thanks!

P0507

Check for vacuum leaks at these parts:

PCV valve
PCV hose
EVAP canister purge valve
Throttle body
Intake manifold
Brake booster hose

Make sure your throttle body and idle air controller are clean.

im about 90% sure it is the idle air control. i took apart the throttle body and cleaned it real well along with the IACV and it seemed to fix the problem. also cleared its own trouble codes. the new IAC is on its way! and i was a little low on coolant so im going to go ahead and flush it this weekend and put the blue type 2 stuff in it. Hope that fixes it lol
