There's an entire "sticky" thread dedicated to headlights up top.

8K is way too blue and you lose useable light... 4300k or 5000k is the way to go, seeing "blue" HIDs on other cars is annoying as hell and also asking to be pulled over by the police. Yes, they are illegal under federal law, so why beg to be pulled over?

Otherwise nice car and yellow fogs are helpful but PLEASE don't put HIDs in there, get a proper 2500k halogen bulb.

This.

Anyone else notice the nice amount of glare? The cut-off should be distinct, but it's not in this case.

As long as no one flashes him then it can't be bothering/blinding them.

Clean or dirty doesn't matter. HID bulbs in a headlight designed for halogens will ALWAYS have glare.

Those are the quality ones to buy, but you're still going to have glare and a less than sharp cutoff. It's a result of the projector housing, not the HID kit.

Whatever glare a halogen projector has (and contrary to your apparently limited understanding of headlights a good halogen projector can be designed with close to zero glare), the glare is always made worse with a HID kit. Any HID kit. Even the vaunted but still shitty TRS kits.

You'd have been far better off using an H9 halogen bulb in place of an H11 HID kit. You'd have less glare and far more usable light with the H9 halogen bulb.

8000K is blue. If you want white, you need to be around 5000K.

All you need to do is look at the temperature color charts.

Not that blue? Blue is blue, it's not white.

Not sure how I can make something seem more blue just by posting HID color temp charts.

But if you like them.....

8K is blue. Look at any KELVIN chart. 8000K is well into the blue range.

Factory cars comes with 4300K.
