Whats up brothers !!!!!
I just finished setting up my front grill leds and i need your sugestion please read carefully: I plugged in the add a circuit mini fuse in the fan fuse (7.5 ) number 21 which is the "A/C condenser fan relay" , which was the only fuse that has acc power .acc means accessories like your radio and stuff so it should be on only when the key is in acc position (make sure not to run your battery down) ![]() After testing with a battery tester each fuse i found this one that had power only when the key is in acc position and happents to be the fan fuse as you can see ![]() Then i removed the grill top cover , has 8 pins becarefull since i broke one lol ![]() Place the strips with double sided tape and wire them find a negative ground ![]() ![]() Turn on the car... and greatness lol ![]() But the lights stay on for like a minute after the car is off once you remove the key then they will go off completely ![]() So what should i do guys ? Is it gonna be a problem because it might drained my battery? Should i add another fuse on the empty slots ? I need some help or should i leave it like that PLEASe let me know what can i do ? IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION LET ME KNOW IM HERE TO SHARE MY MOD !!! |

I shouldn't like this, but I do. Do they scan like KITT?
The boards will hate it, they only seem to like LEDs in the license plate, DRL, and dome housings.

It may help searching on the web to know if the connections are right. Sorry, can't help you there.
![]() I must say, I've been thinking of doing something like this, but need to know a bit more before I take the plunge. They look nice though I would like them a little lower - just my opinion.

Which fan is it,cooling or the fan inside? If it doesn't drain the battery too much which I doubt, I would leave it alone. The only way to find out is leave it plugged in . I would be more comcerned if the double sided tape will hold up.

not a bad idea... it is my understanding that we should avoid tapping into engine bay fuses though since you don't want to introduce any interference to the critical components. granted these low power leds are probably fine, i'd run the fuse lead from the driver or passenger kick panel fuse boxes instead (and grommet the firewall to keep the leads from being damaged by vibration). a small capacitor might serve the purpose of keeping the leds on after power is cut, but the bar would likely slowly dim out.
my only criticism is that the led bar is a different color than the rest of your front lights so it definitely looks added.

Thank you brothers
They work fine except that when i turn off the car and the key off the lights will stay on only for a minute or less.... I might take your advice and run the wire through the firewall into my driver fuse box and connect them , lets see what happens lol |

it is the fan TIMER circuit....perfectly ok to tap into per a couple honda techs I trust, It just closes the circuit for the fan to run if the car is hot..it stays on for 3 minutes after shutting off. Again, it is the fan timer, not the fan itself...

What purpose does this mod do?
Does it increase your front light output? Will it blind other drivers? All I see it doing is yelling "Look at me". Don't see the point in it. That is just me.
