Are those heated seat switches next to the shifter? Nice

Edit: Those darn Canadians get it all!

OK, here's what you've been waiting for!

The day I purshased the car, I knew I wouldn't live with the cloth interior for long... So I shopped around and decided to order a complete Katzkin leather interior. I choosed the premium package and added a perforated leather center portion and a 3/4 perforation in the backrest (custom), and I choosed contrasting stitching in silver, to match the original design of the car. (Canadian Sport 6MT)

I'm not done yet as I just have 4 hours put into this so far. But both front seats are done. Big thanks to a couple buddies who chimed in to help. They both have experience in the car industry/int. works... so that helps!

I'm genuinely impressed by the product to be honest. I didn't really believed it when they said that katzkin had a better material quality than OEM... and now, I don't doubt it. It's awesome and it fits great, that's what I love most about it. Its made to go there without a hassle.

Now sorry for the crappy pictures, I had an old camera at the shop and found out that the lens was very dirty when I took the pics so there's some white spots all over the place... I also didn't even cleaned the seats before taking those pics... So I'll take better ones when I can... The guys at Katzkin asked me to send them some shots of the interior once done... They don't have a lot of material on the 9 gen yet...

Finished product

Hope it gives you a good idea of the whole process.

Now as for the comfort, what a difference... In fell AND looks. It feels like a car that's worth much more.

Cheers

congratulation.

Look very sharp indeed. My sale guy told me that the aftermarket leather are much better than the OEM. I thought it was just the sale tactic, but so far I'm very please with it.

Thx for the kind words.

Cost me 1100 + txs.

Easy... well, not really easy. But very doable if you're a handy type. Most of the material is held in place by hog rings and plastic retainer. So you cut away the hogs, and remove the retainers... Then re-install everything back the way it was, with some fitting and adjusting off course but overall, fun project.

I'm hoping to finish my rear seat tomorrow morning.

More pics to come.
