LED Fog Lights

Does anyone know if I need any type of ballast or convertor if I want to put these LED Fog lights in. Or can I just pop them in?

You might need a couple resistors to prevent "fault codes" such as "replace left front bulb" etc... Those led draw much less power than the OEMs, and sometime the car thinks the bulb is burned and throw a code.

TBC....

Not that it matters since the factory fog lights barely output anything anyways, but replacing your bulbs with these LEDs will reduce your factory fog lights to even less.

I would like to know too since all of the Honda's I owned before I never had such code/errors or warnings because of leds in fog or highbeam.

Re: LED Fog Lights

I have led fogs... nothing special needed, just plug them in. I bought the V-LEDS 750 lumen ones. The color is 5k as expected but the brightness is the same as stock. If i had to do it again, i would just buy some cheap ebay ones since the output ****s even on the more expensive ones.

I have LED fog bulbs on the way for color match. Light output stinks with stock and it will be no better with LED plug ins. No matter since you can't tell if the fogs are on or off from the driver's seat anyway.

^^^^^^HTG was running these on his car with the LED headlights and they looked great (crisp white)- a nice match for HID or LED headlights just don't expect any light output no different than stock.

ebay item # 140856736923

Yep, you never know with random lights but Hardtop Guy is running these and they look spectacular. You might think of a whiter headlight bulb to match to complete the look. HID would be great if you are of that ilk. I have not seen this LED fog against the backdrop of the standard hlogen but there is the potential for the halogen to seem more yellow in comparison-you "prolly" need to wait until they are in to be sure.

This weekend I installed a set of Philips DiamondVision 5000k bulbs in the low beams. They were recommended by user 'seausawilson'. Nice white color when compared to the stock bulbs. Still undecided about the HIDs.
