Question Should I still by13 v6 coupe exl w/nav after all this issues posted here?

Hi everyone I'm new here. I got a pretty good deal on 13 coupe v6 with nav. It was last Tuesday January 22nd and dealer still can't find one for me. I negotiated down from (before taxes and fees)$33000 dealers asking price to $28500. So I have $32000 OTD price. Gave them $1000 deposit and waiting for them to locate a car for me. Here is my question : I just saw this form and lots of other places that owners are having whole lot of issues with almost every trim level. Scary part is lots of them with v6 models. Should I still go with the deal or tell the dealer that no deal. Please help me since lots of owners here and people are passing info around I thought I should ask. Thank you for reply in advance.

It's a forum -people always write more about the problems than the accolades - that's the way forums work. The 13 is turning out to be be a good car with minor problems any new car has. Buy the car and read the forums, but don't get freaked....

You won't be disappointed!
$32K OTD is a great deal - but idk about throwing down cash before you even do a test drive.

you can go to any site, for any car, and find one tranny, one motor, one car that had to be replaced...you are reading THE WORLD when you read forums....people forget that....

and what's more, you are reading enthusiasts here, not the 99% of the public that never hears the wind, the creek or the radio go dead for 2 secs...but we do, as we scrutinize everything on the car as it's our hobby.

I'm having stereo issues and I would rather have these issues then have to worry about engine fire recalls

I did test drive the car that they have it for test drive and seemed ok. I didn't see or hear anything bad during the test drive. After we had a deal I had to give them deposit wich this dealer require minimum $1000 so they can start locating the car.

Well you right but like lots of pissed of owners who paid 30+ on this car you would expect at least your nav gives you directions. Many of them were saying they prefer to use their cell phones for nav. So $2000 option and useless. Idk I hope it'll be fixed.

That last bit. This be what we car buyers call a big red flag. Hopin' you used a credit card.

you need to read closer - no one said honda's nav was bad, it's like all the others...we were saying all car nav vs phone - not just honda...like I said, watch what you read...

It is only money. Spend it and enjoy it.

There is no such thing as a perfect car. Enjoy the car and it is only $30K, which is equivalent to one year of university cost. At least you still have two more years of warranty left on the car after the first year. Your car will be worth $24-25K after one year if you decide to sell it later because you hate it. For me, if I am lucky, I only have to fork out $90K more for three more years. So enjoy your new car and don't look back except for cops.

Since they require this deposit from every costumer in order to have the car delivered from the warehouse I didn't think it's a problem. They are pretty big in this area and BBB reports didn't have any complaint about deposit issue with this dealer. They had other reports and most of them resolved according to BBB.

Good to check with BBB, I think you're fine giving them money to go get the car, you still have not contracted for it and can get it back.

As a dealer, I would not go get a car for someone unless they had stroked me a good faith check of $500-1000.
