New here, just bought my 2013 accord EX.

Hey guys,

Just purchased my brand new 2013 9th gen Accord EX sedan. I traded my 2008 6MT CBP TL-S (I'm also on acurazine.com) in for it. Yes, a power loss but I'm looking to save some money (gas mileage murders my TL-S) in a few areas while I save for my house.

So far I love it! I miss my HID's dearly, however. Do you guys recommend the theretrofitsource's Morimoto H9 kit in our halogen projectors? I haven't read any solid answers on this yet (glare, no glare, looks good, looks bad, mixed opinions).

First will be reconnecting my 2 10" rockford fosgate sub/amp. Since mine doesn't have a factory sub, will my Orion LOC work on one of the L/R channel rear deck speakers for the signal? Thoughts on this are much appreciated.

Second will be tint: 15% wrapped 3M.

dump the pinstripe before it shadows the paint.....it's so new you can do it with your fingernail and a hair dryer...I did mine in the dealer parking lot at delivery....LOL

door edge guards too - worthless.....

Looks nice.

Save your money till after you buy your house.
Then when you get on a good schedule, get mods for the car.
Just my opinion, yours may vary.

I agree with Glen, Ditch the pin stripe and debadge the trunk.

Haha, its funny you mention this. They had all of these extra features on the car to raise the price of it, and I told them I didn't want it, so I eventually haggled the price down to what I wanted, .

Are the door edge guards easy to remove?

Congrats- in addition to what has been said, unload the panty whipped "meep meep" horn and get a man's horn on that bad boy.

not for me...the goo gone gets most of the adhesive too...put a towel on the bumper to absorb the drips...soak it twice for 5-10 min and "saw" with the dental floss....all of 2 minutes....badge falls off perfect...

things I would do (and did) in the 1st week of owning a new car besides the paint sealing I talk about in the detailing forum:

1. remove pinstripe
2. remove door edge guards or wheel well guards (not splashguards)
3. remove all badges except the big H's
4. get the 10 pack of AGT LED's for 6 bucks off ebay and put them everywhere until I mapped out a personal plan for other LED's
5. scotchguard the seats if cloth
6. check tire pressures
7. Tint all around 35%
8. replace toy battery with >550 CCA batt

But that's just me.....

Chek the oil too.

LEDs for the interior and other external lamps brings the car into the 2010s. I liked it so much I did my old beater 04 MDX.

WD-40 works great for dealer stick ons. I have never debaged the factory stick ons. I was actually thinking of adding a Diesel badge since I don't get enough attention.

The meep meep is cute but in the day of amps and subs pretty ineffective if someone is about to hit you.
