***Pics*** car lowered, and front bumper installed!!
I have been meaning to post picture of my car for a while but haven't because my car wasn't lowered and also my front bumper was a bit scratched and messed up. I just had my front bumper installed and had my car lowered last week on megan EZ stree racing coilovers.
Here are my pictures, comment and lelt me know what you guys think and also what else I should get. Future plans: 1. ordered Takeda SRI, will install when recieved. 2. Vossen CV3 graphite ( contemplating on 20x9 all around or 20x9 f 20x10.5 rear) I want to go for a staggered look but the person I am purchasing my wheels from recommends I don't as my car is front wheel drive only and I will go through tires too often any suggestions on what I will need to accomplish if I want to go with a staggered look. offset and wheel size recommendations as well thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also what do you guys think of these pedals?? ![]() BEFORE PICTURES ![]() ![]()

Even on stock wheels, the car is so much nicer once lowered! Congrats. How much of a drop is that?

Im tellin ya man, you're gonna love the sound of the SRI, and as soon as you install, your fuel economy will go down because you will tend to put your foot down more often because of the lovely sound
and what happened to the bumper?

Yeah lowering the car just makes it look so much more aggressive looking. I've gotten so many compliments from people since I've done it and even with the stock wheels it looks beautiful. The drop is about less than an inch, going to drop it more maybe in the future.
And I can't wait to install my SRI, everybody that has one loves it, should be fun ![]() and I drove over a divider in a parking lot, didn't see it when I parked and when I left, I just drove right over it, I felt horrible..

I'd look at spacers to push out a bit....

Yeah i agree with glen. If you get some wheel spacers, it will make it seem alot better stanced.
And how do you like your megan coils? I'm planning on buying some before summer comes around

less than an inch? Maybe it's the smaller stock rims that makes it look lower to me. So use to seeing everyone use a bigger rim size when its lowered i guess. |

Spacers for back only or all around ? Any other suggestions on going staggered as posted in ( type of camber kit and tire size )

Look at your pic and look at mine - this is closer to flush with the body than yours and I think looks better than having the wheel hiding in the well. I can't tell you what spacers to get - I would guess 20 in the front and 25 in the rear...My car is 15 and 20...You've come this far...almost there! (Thanks to my wheel mentor BPearl for teaching me this.)

For the wheel spacers, you need something like a 15-25mm spacer up from and a 40mm spacer for the rear. The stock i4 17" wheels don't fill out the wheel arches properly, so if you get spacers you can get it to look flush.
Don't stagger your wheels, cuz you wont be able to rotate your tires whenever necessary. An another note, did you install the SPC 3-arm camber kit when you installed the coilovers, because if you havent, the tires will most likely be wearing uneven and have premature tire wear.

If you will be on the 17's for a while, I agree with Glen; Get spacers. But if you're getting Vossen's anytime soon, don't spend the money. If you don't mind only being able to rotate your tires from side to side, go with a staggered setup. That's all for looks though so I say only do it if you're dying for the looks of it. If you can live with 20x9 all around, you can save money in the long run. Like Milan said, you need to get a camber kit if you're dropping it any further. You may be ok now but if you drop it too far, it's needed otherwise you will burn through some tires. There is a cheaper option than SPC in the J-Power kit, though. A lot of people have used it, including me.

Try Front 19x9 +37 , rear 19x10 +38 for a staggered set-up ......... fronts might poke alittle bit

thanks for the input everyone! I think I am going to go with 20x9 just to be more practical in the long run. and yeah I noticed my rear wheels are really tucked in and doesnt look flush with the body so i am going to have to invest in some spacers, thanks for the comparison glen.
-20x9 all around CV3s -camber kit -spacers for offset I was thinking +20 front and +15 back is that a bit too much? and anyone recommend any good tires that will look good with the CV3s where the sidewall height isn't too big

9.0 CV3 all around is such a waste. You will have next to no concavity which is the whole point.
