First Project Completed On My Sedan

Would like some feedback on the windows. Decided to go with 20% all around.

Thank you thats my girl you are complimenting haha. Indeed it's the LX model and the visibility is perfect its a little challenging during the night just because I am not used to it but I am sure that will change with time. I was stuck trying to decide whether to go with 20% or 35%(MA law) but decided to take the risk and go with 20%. As far as my next projects I plan on installing HIDs in the coming week or two. I havent really giving fog lights a deep thought but its a strong possibility once you mention it.

Is 20% tint really that dark or is it just the way the picture was taken? I am thinking about getting tints on my Accord but I am still deciding on when percentage to get.

Its dark but not that dark, with 20% you are still able to see through so its not completely pitch black. Also depending on the car color it may make the tints darker then what they really are. Its hard to capture the exact tint with the reflections. Honestly im glad i went with the 20% instead of the 35% but on the downside i cant help but drive with paranoia sometimes when I see a cop. Still adjusting to it

If it helps i relied on this video in my decision making, hopefully it helps you out:

I did not. I would highly recommend Eastside Motoring in Waltham or Tint King in Billerica depending on your locaiton. Both offer lifetime warranty

The car looks sharp!

20% IS that dark.. most SUVs have 20% on the back windows, to give you an idea.

MA legal limit (hey from Western MA BTW) , is 35%, which means you'd have to go with ~40% to be legal (there is 2-3% built into the factory glass, bringing 35% down to 32 or 33%), and anything under 35% will fail inspection depending on the person doing the safety inspection, when they put the meter on it.

Not worth "pulling strings" IMHO, been there, done that.. Now I just go with 40%. If you "know a guy", than by all means go with 20%, but there are also safety reasons for lighter tint. Cops will often either pull you over for it, or add it to a ticket that you're already going to get (speeding, etc..).

Your mileage may vary.

hahaha. are you planing to install the HID yourself. if so, let me know the difilcult level and so. good luck. FOG light is a must!! thats one of the features that sets the LX a side from the other models, exterior wise. Fog installation seems a lil complex for me to do it on my own.
