Mods on lease

Are you "allowed" to tint the windows on a leased car?

Yes you can. Also an exhaust, intake and pretty much any other bolt on you can take off.

Pretty much, but the exhaust is getting on the pricey side of "on now, off later" mods. Just remember to keep all your OEM parts.
By the way Accordio, did that sway bar make a noticeable difference in the handling? I might just get one of those since the Acura dealer said it would only cost me $50 to order.

You can notice a diiference, not as much as the LSD though.

Ooh, I hate you. I want that. Time to put in the most hours I possibly can. Got to save up money for that LSD. Hell, I think that's going to be my next big mod. Who cares about lowering, who cares about paint, la la la. Haha.

How much did it cost to have installed, again? And where can I find a quick converter from Canadian $ to US $?

True but you also said that you got a deal because you knew someone at the dealership right? I thought when I worked it out roughly it came to over $2000...

...And I still believe that it MUST affect the warranty on the transmission/axle, etc...Maybe you just got luckily and your dealership doesn't care, but where I am if I so much as install a CAI any of the dealerships I go to will use that as an excuse for ANYTHING that goes wrong with the engine. Sure you can get them to back down, but only if you remove the CAI prior to them looking into it. CAI is MUCH easier to remove than a LSD is...

Yeah I got a deal. $1200.00 for the part and $600.00 + fluids for the install. I buy a new car every year so the dealers here are pretty flexible with me. I've had supercharged trucks, Nitroused T/A and never had problems with warranty. I wouldn't buy the car if the dealer wouldn't let me mod. But then I'm only in a town of 40000. My SS right now is 5 months old and I had Lingenfelter do the tune, had it cammed, heads, torque converter, intake within the first month having it. My dealer thinks it's awesome. Draws a crowd when it's in for service.

Ok, wow, what do you do for a living (if you don't mind me asking)?
About the small town, yeah, that could make a difference. I live in one of the top 15 biggest cities in the USA; and people give you the "Who are you again? Why would we do that for you, you the owners best friend or something?" treatment. Plus, if you do buy a new car every year; the dealership knows that they will come out ahead even if you should blow a this-or-that on your current car due to modding.

That whole "major in a hard science and do real well" deal is full of _____; I want to make money, not have more bills
Anyway, that's cool you get to play with all those big-boy toys. But now that we know you have the paper, we are going to expect you to do some major trail-blazing in your modding There's a guy over on V6performance that already has a S/C 7th gen, better get busy

Yeah.. well I have a wife and a couple kids and I have to buy them their cars soon, pay for their University, So I have to have my fun now. lol

I'm debating on boost. Not sure if I'm gonna turbo, supercharge or nitrous. I'm more on the Nitrous side just because there isn't a turbo or SC "KIT" out for our cars. Plus the performance #'s vs cost for the SC just isn't there. $7000-$8000 U$ for a 13.6 or so. Not really my cup-o-tea. Plus I should be around a 12.5 in my SUV so it's not like I need a speed fix. The other car runs 13.6 bone stock. But one thing I can say is I'm impressed with this Accord. Should have a few more features inside but you can't have it all.

Any idea how much it would have been if you hadn't gotten a good deal?
