Front Licence Plate

This may sound like a small problem, but ....
We parallel park in a city and the Front Licence Plate bracket keeps getting knocked loose (bracket is bolted to the bottom lip of the bumper). Has anyone had experience with this? Can the bracket be bolted directly into the bumper facia?

Thanks

Is that bracket a necessity? My 6th gen screws directly into the bumper for the top two holes with an additional bracket for the bottom two holes. I just took off the bottom because it's not doing much. If you really need to you could always find a way to make a custom bracket.

The best solution...

Move to Florida. We don't have front plates down here!

Welcome to the forum, GeneJohn!

I assume you have an 03 or 04..... maybe a self locking bolt or a longer one than you have with a locking washer???

Not a problem I've dealt with, but I'd rather tighten all the time than put holes in the front of the bunper!!

Or the FL move!!

Easy to say for us, but nonetheless, there are those boneheads that live in NYC and have no clue how to park. Therefore, they use your brand new Accord as a marker, when they hear the front bumper crack, it's time to stop.
