Drive by wire or not?
I'm confused...maybe someone can unconfuse me.
I have a 2007 coupe I4. Looking through the shop manual I get conflicting inputs regarding whether this model is DBW or not. Several text entries and pictures seem to contradict themselves as to whether this is a DBW system or not. I *am* looking at the appropriate entries for the 06-07 non-SULEV models. Is it or isn't it. thanks for any feedback. |

Yes, it is. Shop manuals may use pictures from older models - 03-05 4 cylinder models DID NOT have DBW, the upgrade was made in 06+. The K24A4 was 03-05, no DBW...the 06+ is a K24A8, it has DBW

Open the hood and follow the throttle cable out of the firewall.. It leads to the passenger side firewall. There you will see the poteniometer for the DBW circuit.
