I am at a loss for words so I am turning to the community. My Apple Carplay would always freeze and give me issues here and there. Now iOS 14 came out and my Carplay is giving me nothing but problems. Today I drove for maybe 2 miles and the screen already froze. I had to disconnect the phone and reconnect it. I am not sure what to do. The dealership had the car for a while before the Pandemic and they said they couldn't find an issue and that I needed to contact Apple. I contacted Apple and they told me that I have to contact Honda since they are the ones responsible for the car and the software loaded into the car. So nobody wants to help and instead they want to put the burden on each other. I have tried factory resetting the car, changing the cables for my phone, a different iphone, and software updates for the car. The screen in the car will either freeze, disconnect and reconnect, or won't read my phone altogether.
Please help...The issue is still covered under Honda Warranty since the time that I originally brought it in was still during the warranty period and since its still an ongoing issue from that service date, its still honored by the warranty terms.
