Anyone installed stage 2 Hondata on the 2.0T?

I'm having a hard time finding post or thread where someone has actually installed stage 2 Hondata on the 2.0T. Anyone? Anyone...? Bueller...?

What's the question you had? Recommendation? Oh yes. Unlocking more power hasn't been easier. I waited until I had 1000 miles on the car before adding as I still believe in break in periods.

And to plug Kseriesparts, they offer Hondata with 0% financing for a year via Affirm if you wanted to not shell out $700 in one shot (today may be the last day since it's a March sale, not sure if they'll have it in April). I actually tried it out, and it was super simple. Approved instantly (I have perfect credit, so I'd imagine that helps), and now I have $58 auto deduct from my checking account for the next 12 months. I will always take advantage of 0% financing for anything, but I'm also responsible to not mess around paying it off. I'm sure if you missed a payment, or didn't pay it off in 12 months, you'd get hammered with fees. So don't do that.

I've got one, as well. I skipped Stage 1 and went right for the kill. I could never go back to stock. I work in a Honda dealer, so occasionally driving stock 2.0T makes it feel like they're underpowered.

what is gas mileage like with stage 2? i would be mostly worried about overstressing the components of the vehicle that weren't designed for more power than what they tuned it for.

IMO, on stage two, only concern is CVT. That being said, you should not do burnouts with a CVT with stage zero anyways, so as long as you arent dumb about it, it should be fine.

I don't have logs or more info but I took these. The cluster is after a 90 mile hwy ride and the other two are around town just normal driving. I'd say I do about 21.x for the most part. Torque is fun. It's faster than my 96 Camaro z28.

This thread pertains to 2.0T's. Although you are right about the CVT.

I thought long and hard about installing the $450. ktuner v1.2 there is really no advantage to paying $650.-$700. for the screen or v2. Or Hondata for that matter. If Hondata matched the price of Ktuner's v1.2 I would get the Hondata. You can download the software to utilize a screen on a tablet or smartphone.

I paid $880. for a 7 year 80k extended warranty. I would really hate to see that go to waste for modifying my ECU. I'm really jealous of the guys that have this extra power though. I've heard both things the dealer will never know as long as you flash the ECU back to stock before a service. But I highly doubt that they wouldn't know if you blew your motor, or tranny and they had to pay 2-4k for a replacement. So I consider it a risk that Im not sure I want to take until my warranty expires. But man I really want to. I do feel its safe running stage 1 or 2. Just not tracking it daily. I also worry about needing to run premium all the time or you risk knock on a stage 2.

So many considerations to think about. Do any of you guys worry about warranty?

I'm enjoying the piggyback so much I am fixing to go Ktuner V2. I want to mount the screen with a windshield mount over in the left corner by the driver's door.

I have a few questions into Ktuner, and then I will go order from a local shop. Gonna go stage 2 (no dual tune), set it and forget it. Will just flash back to stock for dealer trips, is what it is.
