Just for kicks and see opinions .

What will you pick if you had to choose.

1. A fully loaded EX-L auto navi I-4 w/hfp for 28k.
2. A EX-L V-6 auto no navi no hfp for 28k.

Don't care so much about the gadgets and toys but I voted I4 for the driving experience - so long as it's a MT. If both are AT, I'll bike it.

For a coupe:
1-V6 6MT
2-I-4 Navi 5MT
3-V6 5AT
4-I-4 Navi 5AT

In both cases, AT`s emasculates the engine.

Faced the same decision when I was picking out a new Accord. I would go I4, but....

- Didin't like how the front bumper look on the I4 (fog lights).

- Nice to have dual outlets.

- There won't be a Big Block Accord in the future. Get them while you can!

V6 with auto and VCM spells disaster.

Opt for V6-6sp manual or go with I4 loaded

I'll give you the auto part due to history. VCM have only been out a few years. There are plenty of Odyssey owners with 85K+ miles with no trouble due to VCM. Time will tell. I personally know one 08 Accord (auto V6 sedan) with 98K miles with no problems. But it's an 08 so it's still "new" and not a good judge on reliability.
