  1. Window Trim

    The 7th Generation
If it attaches anything like the 9G, it’s only held on with adhesive tape.
  2. Coupe Owners with Body Side Molding. What is height of rear molding above the line?

    The 9th Generation
@RCarlL I understand the function of side moldings and I suppose I would have them if absolutely necessary, but I am fortunate enough to have an empty, fenced area to park at work and otherwise I just park away from other cars.
  3. Fog light installation 9th gen

    Audio, Electronics & Lighting
Maybe the OP actually has an LX. OP, do you have a sunroof?
  4. 2000 Accord with M/T, 262k miles: worth it?

    The 6th Generation
Some oil burn is reasonable for that many miles, but find out how much is needed to be added every 1K miles. Burning oil will eventually ruin the catalytic convertor, so plan for that eventually. A compression test is really the only remaining thing to check off.
  5. 2000 Accord with M/T, 262k miles: worth it?

    The 6th Generation
    Mostly in California.
  6. 2000 Accord with M/T, 262k miles: worth it?

    The 6th Generation
The price seems reasonable. What trim? The DX has an F23A5 (non-VTEC), the other trims an F23A1 (VTEC). I’d do a compression test with that many miles and ask about any oil consumption. When was the timing belt/water pump done last? Has a head gasket ever been done?
  7. Electrical systems quit

    The 10th Generation
I hope he used Grammarly to help out.
  8. Any issues running two 18x7.5 +42 with two 18x7.5 +48 wheels?

    Wheels, Suspension & Brakes
As long as the tires aren’t directional, they can be rotated side to side but in any case treadwear will be less on the set for a staggered setup. Front to back can be done IF there is clearance (there shouldn’t be, the whole reason of staggering sizes is to maximize the size to the location...
  9. Any issues running two 18x7.5 +42 with two 18x7.5 +48 wheels?

    Wheels, Suspension & Brakes
I was reading staggered as in different sizes, not just offsets. I should follow along more closely. Yes, without rotating tires you’ll be lucky to get 20K out of the set, especially with the camber in the rear and the weight in the front.
  10. MTF options

    The 9th Generation
You could use Amsoil Synchromesh or Redline MTL.
  11. WTB: V6 coupe manual in either SM Red or Still Night Pearl

    DriveAccord Classifieds
    Better get Maaco? j/k
  12. Any issues running two 18x7.5 +42 with two 18x7.5 +48 wheels?

    Wheels, Suspension & Brakes
Except for the fact that you can’t rotate staggered wheels. You’ll go through tires fast.
  13. Exhaust options

    The 9th Generation
The failure of a catalytic converter at 110K does not make sense. What exact code is the system throwing?
  14. Replacing broken side-mirror housing

    The 10th Generation
Try this page: hondaautomotiveparts.com The part you need is there (should).
  15. 4cyl vs 6cyl springs/struts

    The 6th Generation
Did you ever confirm what vehicle/generation the springs are for?
  16. 9th Gen Accords in movies?

    The Pit
I’m game for any director/producer out there.
  17. 9th Gen Accords in movies?

    The Pit
    No. According to the IMCDB.
  18. Accord 2012 - Switching Lamps from Halogen to LED

    Audio, Electronics & Lighting
There isn’t any cheap way to do it. LED/HID bulbs in your reflector halogen housing will be less than ideal. A projector retrofit is what you need and as I said, it isn’t cheap. Your best bet would be to get some good whiter halogen bulbs like the Philips CrystalVision ultra.
  19. Your Next Vehicle - Staying with Honda, or going elsewhere?

    Drive Accord Polls
    I want a Giulia.
  20. Accord won’t hold alignment but suspension and steering components have been examined to be in good shape

    Wheels, Suspension & Brakes
You’d likely be fine with yearly alignments at the most frequent. 1/32nd tread loss over 20K mi is exceptional. Your car is meant to be driven and your tires are meant to be driven on. Everything wears out and will need to be repaired/replaced.
