About a month ago I was driving down the highway and my elbow ripped the leather on the armrest. A week later I ordered some bride seat material and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Thought I should share.
I found a few other older posts on this topic but didn't see any suggestions for solutions.
I moved from a 2010 CR-V which had "captain's" chairs and a fold-down center armrest on the side of both front seats around mid-body. These were extremely comfortable for long trips as the height point...
I just replaced the armrest on my 04.
I ended up buying a new one after deciding the used one I got on eBay was only slightly better than my old one. This is a video I created using the one from ebay. I saw other info on here about using a screw driver but I found an easier way when I did it...
So I got fed up with the driver seat rubbing against the arm rest. I did have the dealer install Katzkin leather, but I think they moved the driver seat too close to the arm rest which caused the rubbing. So I decided to take matter into my own hand. This fix is very simple. Enjoy! :D
my armrest...recently where I live its been really freaking hot so hot that the leather on my armrest started to pop up.
I called my local dealer and I told them that I have the extended warranty on my car but they said that the warranty does not cover the armrest!?!?!?
I always thought...
I'm seeing if anyone knows what the little jack in the rear of the center arm rest box is.
I have a 2004 Accord LX Fully Loaded.
Does it have anything to do with the center console or is it something else.
let me know . Please and thank you
